The Chronicles

Reframing and retelling the Nativity Story as it really would have happened is no small task–so we divided it into three points of view that we call Chronicles. The Judean Chronicle recounts the history of Israel and how it would have affected Joseph & Mary, the shepherds, as well as the religious leaders and citizens of Judea, Samaria, and Galilee. The Parthian Chronicle recounts the history of the Magi, from their beginnings as merely one tribe among the Medes, through their role as the hereditary priesthood of the Babylonians and Persians, until their historic diplomatic mission to Herod’s court at Jerusalem, and a young child in Bethlehem. The Roman Chronicle focuses on some of the greatest names in history and the parts they played in His-story–Augustus, Mark Antony, Cleopatra, and the Roman client king of Judea, Herod the Great.
