We had the opportunity to meet Tim and Jill Mahoney of Patterns of Evidence/Thinking Man Films at NRB 2020. This was clearly a divine appointment between two kindred spirits–two Tims, both from Minneapolis, both making documentaries. We are big fans of Patterns of Evidence/Thinking Man Films and highly recommend them–Patterns of Evidence: Exodus, The Moses Controversy, and The Red Sea Miracle.
Tim and I discussed the fact that archaeological evidence, like the Bible, is subject to interpretation and therefore often a victim of biases and presuppositions, and is often impacted by things such as differences in individual backgrounds, political viewpoints, personal experiences, philosophical outlook, and more.
